Quality control
We will check the new site for:
- Usability - the site should download quickly and be able to adapt to different screen settings.
- Accessibility - the site should be accessible by all the main browsers (there are about five and they include Internet Explorer). People with any sight problems (who use special browsers that convert written text into sound) should be able to access your site, as should mobile phones and other hand-held systems.
- Search engine optimisation - in other words, search engines such as Google, Yahoo (and a few hundred others) should be able to access your site and find pages, images and keywords in your site and list these in their systems. Each search engine uses slightly different rules but, if your site is effectively coded, most of them should be able to search your site.
We make sure that our coding meets these standards.
